IPG-UI version 2.0.0.0 macros do not get saved properly

Hi,

I am using a "Blank-I2C-7bit-1.0" project template. When I save a macro in the IPG-UI version 2.0.0.0 the values of the register address get lost => RegAddr: (see picture below). After restarting the software and calling the macro an error message pops up telling "Cannot read property 'setValue' of null" which makes sense but doesn't help solving the problem since it is a software issue. Can you correct that behaviour and upload a version which does work properly otherwise the application is useless for my project. The "Data" gets saved though.. why is that the case?

The IPG-UI Macros in 2.0.0.0 do not work against unknown registers. This will be fixed in the next release. In the mean time, what we can do is create a device file that contains the registers you are trying to write to so that they are known and the macros should work. Can you tell me what the I2C address and register addresses are for the registers you are trying to write to are?

Marc,

The attached device file should make the registers for the device known. To use this save it to your PC and from the landing page select "Load Device Information from File" and browse to this file.
