Connecting of NC terminal of TPS709

Hi
As long as I watched datasheet of TPS709, NC terminal is unconnected in 8.2 Typical Application.
But it is connected to GND in 10.2 Layout Example.
Which connection is recommended?

    Yokota-san,

    The NC pin has no internal connection so it can be left unconnected or be tied to another net for more convenient routing. We typically recommend that NC pins be tied to GND as it allows for a larger GND plane.
