The function of UCC25600 EVM-644's PMAX?

Hello,

1.Anyone know the function of PMAX below this picture?SLOU293C Figure 15.

I've read the User's Guide UCC25600EVM-644 (SLOU293C),but still couldn't find the function description of that.

Do TI engineer have the details of UCC25600EVM-644 LLC resonant transformer TR3's details?
Because SLOU293C only show the core type on the parts list,but I'd like to know the turns ratio of this transformer.

Pokau,

That TI reference desing is a power supply for an audio amplifier. So the Pmax signal is an output warning signal to the control logic (uC) of the system to warn it what too much power is being delivered for too long, and that there is a danger of overloading or overstressing the power supply.

It is up to the system controller to repsond to the Pmax warning.

For the TR3 transformer, this was made by Ole Wolff, I would suggest that you try to contact them to get a copy of the specification.
