bq24090 has output OVP?

Hi,

I evaluated bq24090 with additional resistor on BAT+ that simulate long wire of battery pack. Then I confirmed charging failure as attached. I guess that the charging is stopped due to output OVP but I can't find such description in datasheet. So please give your comment for following two question.

Does bq24090 have output OVP?
Please give your opinion for this behavior if bq24090 has no output OVP.

Sonoki,

Based on the timing and the voltage at the BAT pin, it seems the bq24090 is going through a BAT detect routine. The 1 ohm resistor creates a 400mV increase over the battery voltage with the 400mA charge current. This results in the system not able to determine if it is a valid battery.\

Thank you for your comment. I resolved this behavior by disabling battery detection (TTDM).
