Hi,

im going to use the gate Driver UCC27517A-Q1 in my design.

Unfortunately there is no value for the Minimum VIN_HYS Input signal Hysteresis.

I Need this for Performance calculation of the design.

May you specify this value?

Are there more data available?

The hysteresis is 1V as mentioned in the datasheet.

Sorry, obviously my question was not clear: I Need the Minimum value for this Hysteresis (which is missing in the datasheet).

I marked it in the above table.

Hi Martin,

Hysteresis generally do not vary that much, may be 100mV, but to get accurate answer I need to check with my design team.
This might take some time, thus if it is urgent, I would use 0.9V as minimum hysteresis.
Also, notice that the minimum of input low and maximum of input high is clearly defined in the datasheet, and I would use those numbers for my design rather than hysteresis.

thanks for your answer.

I Need to calculate an Operation point where my control voltage supply runs out of power during a short power interrupt.

Therefor I Need to know at what voltage levels at the gate driver Input the Output of the Driver 'may' Change the state.

This is worst case the Input Signal high threshold (V_IN_H) minus the minimum Hysteresis (V_IN_HYS_min).

Woudl be fine if you could gather this Information for me.

Hello,

I want to rise this item again.

Are there some data available now?

I still Need this value.

Futhermore I do have an other Parameter in the datasheet where I need clarification for:

The functional block diagram in para 9.2 Shows pull up resistor of 200kOhm and pull down of 230kOhm at the inputs.

I would Need also the worst case values for these resistors (min, max).

I would be glad if anyone can help me.

Hello Martin,

I want to confirm that we will inquire on the details of your question with the IC design team to find the data. The engineer most familiar with this family is out of the office next week, so it will be early next week before we can address the details.

The input resistances you inquire about are fairly wide tolerance, but I want to confirm the details with IC design as well.

Hello Martin,
We are looking into past test data to address the question about the minimum and maximum input hysteresis voltage.

I did find data on the expected worst case tolerance of the input pull up and pull down resistors.
The worse case tolerance is indicated as -40% to +80% of nominal over process and temperature.
