TPS68470 GUI software

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS68470, IPG-UI, USB2ANY

Hello Sir:

I can't found TPS68470 GUI software on the website,

Can you provide it?

And, the control should be using USB-to-ANY(HPA665), but I can't found the datasheet for USB-to-ANY,

I need to know the pin define so that I can connect the I2C interface,

thanks a lot.

  • Logan,

The GUI for this device is not yet available. However, to communicate with the device over I2C you can start with the IPG-UI GUI which is available at http://www.ti.com/tool/IPG-UI. Using that GUI you can select the Blank-I2C-device project to have a generic register map for read and write. You will need to set the device address appropriately depending on your I2C_ICA and I2C_ICB pin settings. I will work on making a more device specific support package for the IPG-UI for this device as well.

The USB2ANY should connect to the board at connector J21 which is keyed so that the ribbon cable only fits one way.

    Sincerely,
    Chase
  • Logan,

I'm sorry, I made a mistake. The TPS68470 is already included in the IPG-UI. You can select that device from the device selection list to get a register map for the TPS68470.

    Sincerely,
    Chase
  • HI Chase:

    Yes, I can found TPS68470 at IPG-UI.

about the USB2ANY, because  I need to make connection with customer's board, but I don't know the pin define for I2C-CLK, DATA,

But anyway,   at TPS68470 EVM schematic, I can mapping J21 to find CLK and DATA.

    thanks a lot!
