BQ24160A: Insupply fault

Hi team,

I am beginner for BQ, and question is about Insupply fault.

1. which condition make "in supply fault"? and what does it mean?

2. when I met the in supply fault - 101, how do I solve this fault problem ?(ie, which condition is good for charge again?

Hi Max,
In supply fault means that the power source connected to IN input failed the bad source detection check as explained in datasheet section 9.3.16.3. If you remove the bad source and replace with a good source, the fault will go away after 2 seconds.
