TPS51120: TPS51120 CURRENT MODE OPERATION DESIGN EQUATIONS CLARIFICATION REQUIRED: WHAT DOES THE Gm PARAMETER CORRESPOND TO?

Part Number: TPS51120

Hi everyone!

Just a simple confirmation concerning the COMP signal circuit calculation equation stated at the TPS51120 user manual before validating my pre-design for Current Mode operation.

The formula for  the calculation of the Rc resistor includes several parameters. Everyone of them are clear for me except that stated as Gm.

I guess it corresponds to the transconductance amplifier gain, especified as 280 microSeconds at the data sheet.

The confirmation or correction of this supposition would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help and have a Merry Christmas, wishing all the best for the coming 2017.
