TPS61015: TPS61015 Can I connect Vout to LBI (low battery input)?

Are there any problems with connecting Vout (through a resistor divider) to LBI (low battery input)?

Datasheet recommends connecting Vbat to LBI but Vbat has many sources of variance and what I really need to know is when Vout starts dropping so I think it'll be easier and safer for me to monitor Vout instead of Vbat.
