LM1117: Any possible issue in the long run when using LM1117 as constant current source?

Part Number: LM1117

hi,

I often see application where the voltage regulator is used as a constant current source to drive LED.

In my circuit below, if the MOS switch is always on, a constant 15mA flows through the LEDs.

If I use a PWM signal to switch the MOS switch so as to dim the LEDs, do you see any issue with LM1117 in the long run? Thanks.

Best Regards,
