LM5021: Over temperature protection

The LM5021 does not have any internal over-temperature shutdown feature.

However, external over-temperature can be easily interfaced to the LM5021 by pulling down the SS (soft-start) pin. This will disable the PWM, and when the over-temperature condition goes away, the PWM will restart through the soft-start pin.

You could consider several TI external temperature switches with open-drain pull-down that can be connected directly to the SS pin, such as TMP709 or LM26.
