TLV62569: boundary state between PSM mode and PWM mode

Guru 29720 points
Part Number: TLV62569

Hi Team,

My customer is evaluating TLV62569 with TLV62569EVM.
He found yellow SW pin  pulse width is thinner than green.
The load current is around 0.4A and I believe it is boundary state between PSM mode and PWM mode in this case.

CH2 (white): inductor current
CH4 (red): SW pin voltage

Could you kindly tell me why yellow pulse is thinner than green one?

Yaita / Japan disty

  • Hello Yaita,

it is a pleasure to support you. May I ask you how you setup your feedback devider (resistor values and feedforward capacitor), and if possible to superpose the waveform of the output voltage to the screenshot you sent me ?

    Best Regards,
    Emmanuel
  • Hi Emmanuel-san,

I appreciate for your kind support.
I found TI Japan Goya-san contacted to you on email (off line).
