Hi~ All!

I've developed power board using LM5175.

And schemetic is same with TI reference design PMP10214.

But input current was measured 500mA at no load.

So I removed FET(Q7) then input current was measured normally. (50mA)

I don't know why this problem occured.

FET and diode are used same part (BSC009NE2LS5, B530C-13-F)

Input: 12~17V, Output: 15V

Hi Mason,

Your circuit may be set for CCM. To reduce the input current under no load, you should set it for DCM. Please refer to the datasheet for selection of DCM.

Hi~

LM5175EVM is also CCM mode. but it's input current is 50mA at no load.

Could you cross check your circuit against EVM?
