TPS2373: Does TPS23861 Support UPOE standard?

Hi Charles,

TPS23861 supports IEEE802.3at and UPoE. TPS2373-4 is IEEE802.3bt ready PD. TPS23861 can only classify TPS2373-4 from class 0 to class 4 since TPS23861 is not able to initiate more than 2 finger classification. Thanks.

Hi Charles,

Thanks for clarifying. Yes, a single TPS2373-4 can be used in LLDP based UPOE. Forced UPOE can be implemented if using two TPS2373-4s in the same topology as TPS2378EVM-602.
