Hi,
I am considering using TPS54040A device.
In using, there is one concern, so I would like to ask a question.
In my specification, I assume input of 40V at the maximum. As far as we are studying, it never exceeds 40V.
However, the maximum rating of this device is 47V, the recommended operating condition is 42V.
This has little margin to my specification.
Is there always a problem with the performance, reliability and safety of the device even if 40V is always applied as the input voltage?
