TPS65563A: I_PEAK current setting

Dear Sir,

My customer would like setting TPS65563A peak current on 200mA ~ 300mA.

I saw datasheet VI_PEAK = 0.1V -> peak currnet on 400mA~800mA

Could you help check VI_PEAK= ? during I_Peak= 200mA ~ 300mA(under 300mA)

Hi,

Per page 10 of the datasheet, the lowest typical peak current that TI specifies is 0.62A. You may be able to achieve lower peak current but the accuracy may not be consistent. Please use the procedure highlighted on page 10 of the datasheet to calculated the required voltage.

Hi,

Using the specified values of IPEAK and figure 6 of datasheet page 10, use equation IPEAK = 1.2545*V_IPEAK + 0.4912. The lowest (typical) IPEAK you can get is 0.4912A, for V_IPEAK = 0. However, as I mentioned before, it operation at this low voltage is not in the recommended characterized range.
