LM5032: Can TIDA-00200 work in the Non-interleaved way?

Part Number: LM5032
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00200, UCC28740, LM5021

Dear Sir/Madam,

In TIDA-00200 "120 VAC, 200 W, 90% Efficiency, Interleaved Flyback for Battery Charging Applications Reference Design", it says the whole design will work in the way of "interleaved", which means the two outputs of the LM5032 should be both used. This way, a higher output current can be expected. My question now is that if I don't need a very high current, then can I just use one output of LM5032 with this TIDA-00200 design? That is also equally to ask, do we have to use this LM5032 chip in the "interleave" way?

Thanks.
