Hello,

BQ24031 datasheet mentions that DPPM pin can be used for charging control. It however seems to affect over current recovery as well. Is it recommended to use TS input for charging enable/disable function?

Hello Samir,
You can pulse the voltage on the DPPM pin below 1V for a few microseconds and add 10uF cap on DPPM to avoid this. TS can be used as charge enable / disable if it is not used to monitor battery temperature.

Hi Raheem,

Can you confirm the size of the capacitor on DPPM? The datasheet specifies a range of 1nF-10nF. 10nF wasn't enough for the application but before we test 10uF I just want to confirm it is safe to use that value.

10nF is the maximum on the DPPM pin.
