LM25066I: LM25066I VAUX function

Part Number: LM25066I

Hi Sir,

LM25066I datasheet is show the VAUX Auxillary ADC Input 0 to 1.16V(12-bit Resolution & Auxiliary pin allows voltage telemetry from an external source. Full scale input of 1.16 V),but I can't clear VAUX function.

Question 1, could you please explanation VAUX function?

Question 2, we need provide the high Accuracy voltage level to this pin similar LDO?

Question 3, VAUX can floating?

Hugo

  • Hugo,

    1.  Vaux allows you to read the voltage on an auxillary supply in your system and provide telemetry via PMBus register (D0h).  It is an input.

    2.  Accuracy is what ever you desire to supply per your system needs.  At 1v input, the digital telemetry accuracy is +1.2%/-1.0%.

    3.  I would not recommend leaving any input pin or output pin floating unless specifically specified in the DS.  If not used, tie Vaux directly to ground.
