HI Sir

I saw TI have two recommend surge protection circuit ,May I know below two circuit can support 2KV surge ?

So far we test 1.75KV surge ,VLNB pin of TPS65233-1 will damage

1. What is part number of your TVS?
2. How about adding Voltage Dependent Resistor?

For the surge test, the D4 is must added.
What is the type of D4? It should be 1N4007 diode.
TI had done the surge test before, the device can pass 4.5kV.
Could you send me the schematic and BOM for reviewing?

The DT400(TVS) diode responsing is too slow to clamp the LNB_PWR0 voltage, so we must add a 1N4007 between DT400 and DT401 for the surge test, it can prevent high voltage pass to IC before DT400 clamp LNB_PWR0 voltage.
No need BOM.

If use TPS65233-1 to calculator ,R1 need to use 1.5Kohm ,is it right
How about the package size of resistor ? 0603 or 0805 ?

Yes, the R1=1.5kohm is ok.

Suggest to use 0805 package and can bear at least 0.25W power resistor for R1.
