TLC5941-Q1: Eliminating Microprocessor control for the device

Part Number: TLC5941-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5941, TLC5940,

Hello,

The Application note  describes how to use the TLC5940-Q1 without a microcontroller.

Can this be done in the same way with the TLC5941, if the TEST pin is controlled like the DCPRG pin of the TLC5940?

Does the TLC5941 also contain an EEPROM like the TLC5940? Is this EEPROM always completely filled with ones?

Would a circuit like in the picture above be reliable with the TLC5941?

Can any issues occur, if the TEST pin is continuously hold LOW?
