Hi all!
In a design already done we have introduced a new external device which is supplied from one channel of the TPS54395 (+5V). With previous devices, everything went ok, inside margins, but the new one introduces some current peaks up tu 6A during several miliseconds (between 4-10 ms), while the power supply is designed for 3A.
In the datasheets only says the overcurrent protection is done cycle-by-cycle, but don't specifies nothing about overcurrent threshold or peak duration allowed values. Is there any internal Texas test which can provide accurate timings or safe value ranges to work in besides the direct current data of 3A.
Thanks for your support,
Daniel,
