TLC5951: LOD, LSD validity

Hi team,

After reading the chapter 9.4.7 "Continuous Base LOD, LSD, and TEF" of the TLC5951 datasheet, my customer understand that the only one condition to guarantee the LOD/LSD data validity is that GS data is equal or higher than 20h (32d).
Could you confirm that there is not any condition on the minimal current value which will flow through the LED (BC data and DC data) during the test? In other words, the LOD/LSD data could be valid even if BC=00h and DC=00h?

    Hi, Pol,

    The minimal current should be higher than 0 to make sure the LOD/LSD can detect correct voltage at OUT terminal.

    So if BC=0 and DC=0, since there's no current at OUT, the LOD/LSD should not be able to detect.

    In general application, the BC and DC is a certain data, so the datasheet descripes the requirement of minimum GS data for valid LOD/LSD data.
