Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, CSD18543Q3A, , CSD18540Q5B
Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models
We were originally using the MOSFET CSD18543Q3A in parallel with LMS3406 for the fast dimming application for LED control. The simulation works fine. On the drain side, when the MosFET gate voltage low, its Drain side will go as high as 48 V which was from the Vout of LMS3406. Now we changed the MOSFET into the CSD18534Q5A thinking of it has the same functionality as the CSD18543Q3A, yet has better power dissipation with larger package. Yet with this bigger size MOSFET in place, its drain-voltage stays at low, it has completely different behavior compared with the CSD18543Q3A. I lost the 48V output. Why? Is the PSpice model for CSD18534Q5A correct? I downloaded from the TI website.http://www.ti.com/product/CSD18534Q5A/toolssoftware.
Any help?
Thanks,
