Hello, Teams

I am currently testing TPS65917EVM.

I have two questions.

First, which pin should I use for Vref? (IO_VIN)

Second, I have connected I2C SCL line to J7, I2C SDA line to J10, connected power supply to P16 and connected USB to MPS430.

I used 0x48 for my slave device address and 0x23 for my register address.

However, It seems like Acknowledge isn't generated by the slave and I have no idea why.

Any IDEA is appreciated.

Hi,

The default slave address for this device is 0x58. Please check if this will work.

Hi,

The VIO_IN pin (pin 34) is the digital supply input for GPIOs and I/O supply voltage.

Hello.
I have One last question.

I am trying to do I2C commnunication with LDO1 voltage register and input voltage of 3.3V.

I see that 5-0bit is 110001.
However, it shows that 7-6bits are reserved. Is there anything I have to type in here? ( just like the range of voltage 0 or 1)

Or do I leave this blank?

Hi,

You can leave bits 7 and 6 as zeros. These bits are reserved so there is no effect.

You can write 00110001 or 0x31 to receive a 3.3V output on LDO1.
