TLC5916: TLC5916 One wire Control

Dear TI,

Is it possible to get PSPICE model/testbench from one of this drivers: TLC5916,TLC5917,TLC5926 or TLC5927?

I want to simulate the driver together with TLC555D timer. Model of this timer I have from your webside but I can not find any driver model.

Do you know maybe how many of TLC5927 LED Drivers I can drive with one TLC555D timer?

Hi, Marcin,

Since TLC5927 can be used daisy-chained, and the refresh rate determines how many you can drive together.

For example, using N TLC5927 together, you need to send N*16 Bit data once, then you can use you SLCK to calcualte the refresh rate.

Hi Kenneth,

I am only interested in one-wire control option:

So if I have 8 drivers and which has separate ON/OFF control signal. Do I need 8 Timers or 1 timer ?

You can use one timer and connect all CLK/LE together.
