Can you please provide the link of the datasheet from which you have captured this curve?

Although I have found this datasheet which doesn't have any dropout voltage info. 

Also, the part I am using is  LM317DCYRG3. Can you clarify whether the above dropout voltage curve is applicable to the part I am using?

Hi Harsh,

I apologize for the delay in response with the US Holiday.

I took the dropout curve from the LM3480 datasheet by mistake as you referenced the post on that product I opened the wrong datasheet. You are correct, there is not a dropout vs output current curve in the LM317 datasheet. I apologize for my misreading of your question.

LM317 was originally released by National Semiconductor. Please allow a day or two for me to locate this information for you.
