LM2672: LM2675 vs LM2672 without connecting Softstart and Sync

Hello Team,

I would like to double check if I can change the LM2675 I have already on the board with the LM2672 .

In particular if I use the LM2672 without connecting the  Pin 2 (Softstart) and pin 3 (Sync) on the SOIC package, can I consider those two parts equivalent?

From stability perspective and transient response, can I consider the  LM2672 equivalent to the LM2675?

Indeed the goal would be to replace the LM2675 with LM2672, without changing any other part on the board.
