LM3492: LM3492 as SEPIC

Part Number: LM3492

Hi,

is the LM3492 suitable for a SEPIC design? The datasheet mentions the projected-on-time feature. Would that interfere with the SEPIC topology?

By now I have used the LM3492 in the normal Boost configuration and it works fine. But now the input voltage requirements have changes from 12 V to 18...32 V (with ca. 22 V LED voltage).

If the LM3492 is not a good choice for that design, could you recommend some other part?

Thanks & best regards,

Martin
