Hi SG,
The LC circuit at the output is not real resonance circuit. When the IC is operating in PFM mode, there is no current flowing back in the inductor therefore no resonance would be seen on the output in PFM mode.,
If you want to ensure the swtiching frequency is always above the resonance frequency, I would suggest to add a dummy load.
What is you main concern here?
What application is it?
