TPS62262-Q1: output current

Hi Team,

My customer considers to use TPS62262-Q1.
However it is possible case for his application output current is 631mA(max).
My customer understand TPS62262-Q1 supports up to 600mA however he wants to know the concern if he uses TPS62262-Q1 in this case.

May I have your comments?

The datasheet is clear about the maximum output current. Although getting higher output current at typical conditions may be possible I cannot recommend to use this device for a load current above the maximum specified. For higher output current I recommend to use TPS62290-Q1.

Does 600mA(max) include ripple current?
I believe it doesn't but would like to confirm just in case.

The datasheet specification clearly specifies the output current which by definition is DC. The ripple should be negligible.
