BQ24032A: bq2403x Single-Chip Charge and System Power-path Management IC (bqTINY™)

Hi guys,
I have the following schematic above represented.

It in the DC input supports between 4.35 to 16V.

I vary the input voltage and the current consumption is maintained so the power consumed increases with the voltage. For instance with 5V the PCB consumes 10mA and with 10V consumes the same 10mA.

Can anyone clarify why this happens ?

I have the input protection. I think the fuse should be before TVS ...

Hello Fabiano,
This is due to the fact that the BQ24032A charges the battery through an LDO. Thus the current on IN will stay the same even if the voltage changes.
