Hi team,

In this device, Figure7 shows output voltage vs input voltage.

If Vin increases especially above 40V, Iout seems goes down.

In this Vin case, how about the output voltage? still keeping 5V in +/-2%?

Hi NY,

Please note that our rated input range maximum for TPS7A63-Q1 is 40 V. Figure 7 shows that if Vin exceeds this range, linear regulator will not be able to support the full output current. For reliable operation, a maximum Vin of 40 V should be maintained.

Please also consider TPS7B63-Q1 which is the next generation of this regulator.
