BQ27530-G1: Flash using STM32 without golden image

Hey

I'm currently designing a system that is going to use the BQ27530-G1 and I wanted to know if it's possible to flash the chip without the golden image, by writing I2C commands to the right registres using the STM32 chip I'm using to control the rest?
