DCP010505DB: help check if the below SCH can work normally

Part Number: DCP010505DB
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMZM23601

hi Mr,

Would you help check if the below SCH can work normally? Our design needs the output is 10V,so we set the -Vout is GND,but the Vout is abnormal

Could you help give any advice for the application

Thanks a lot

  • Hi Hope,

Because this is an unregulated DC/DC the positive and negative output might vary a bit depending on the load. Your connection looks correct in that you are using the negative output voltage as the reference so the expected output voltage should be (5 - (-5)) = 10V.  Is there a reason why you need to use the DCP010505DB? If you are interested in one of the newly released devices this year that has a small solution size, you might want to take a look into the LMZM23601.

    Regards,
    Jimmy

  • Appreciate for your response.Unfortunately, The can't work normally
    Customer'design needs the isolated output
  • Hi Hope,

What is the tolerance for the +10V output? Looking at Figure 7 Load Regulation, the output voltage can drift from 5.7V(10% load) to 4.77(full load). If a tight tolerance is required, having post-regulation to get 10V might be necessary by using either an LDO or switching regulator.

    Regards,

    Jimmy
