TPS53219A: About OUTPUT Discharge

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to disable OUTPUT Discharge function when power down sequence.

For example, we guess that if we turn off VDD before EN by the external MOSFET, TPS53219A can stop VOUT without the output discharge.

Is my understanding correct?

And, could you please let us know if you have any idea?

Kanemaru-san,

The output discharge function is powered from VREG which is derived directly from VDD. Removing VDD before forcing EN low should cause the discharge function to not operate.
