LMZ31520: Output Voltage

Hi, team.

Does it break if the output voltage of the LMZ31520 is 4.1V?
It is good not to break even if the voltage accuracy and various characteristics worsen.

    What is the application you plan on using this in? The recommended maximum output voltage is 3.6V for a stable and regulated output. I can't say for certain if this breaks the device or not since pushing this to higher output voltage introduces larger output voltage ripple which may result in thermal constraints or stability issues. I have not tested this device with your application condition and would generally not advise people to use any device in applications beyond datasheet specs.

    Application is medical equipment.
    Competition is LTM4628.
    12Vin 4.1Vout 15A is necessary, but there are no products that can produce 3.6V or more with large current.

    Unfortunately the TI power module portfolio doesn't have anything that will fill this space. Can you let me know what the 4.1V output will power? This information would be great for us to know so we can help define devices that will accommodate this customer application in the future.

    Since the switching power supply board and the sensor board are separated as shown in the block diagram, the power is supplied by the cable.
    Considering the voltage drop due to the cable, it is set to 4.1V.
    Although it is somewhat special usage, DC / DC can not be placed on the sensor board side, so it has such a configuration.

    Although the number increases, we propose parallel use of LMZ31710.
