hello,

one of our customer plans to shutdown TPS53219A by VDD power supply shut down earlier than EN going to Low.

could you please help me out if this is any potential issue or problem in the device.

IMO-san,

I do not see a problem with this based on the block diagram and considering fact that the Vreg has UVLO feature.

Mathew-san,

Thank you for your feedback.
In such case I am anxious about parasitic diode turning on specially in VREG5 body diode and it makes the device damaged, even if it may cause VDD pulled down quickly rather than VREG5 voltage down.
Would you think the customer needs external Schottky diode for these fail safe.

Thank you very much. as we discussed in offline, placing an external schottky diode will be a fail-safe to prevent any damage on VREG5 to VDD.
