Hi TI Support,

I am looking for more detail information regarding the UC1825A (5962-8768012V2A) Error Amplifier parameters variation (Vio, Iio, Ibias).

1) Input offset voltage is listed as 2mV nominal and 10mV max. Is this variation due to both Temperature and Radiation ? If TA range is 125C, Can I calculate Vio variation using linear approach for lower temperature ?

2) Similar question in item 1 for Input bias current and Input offset current

3) Are Vio, Iio, Ibias varies as random or uni-direction ? Could you provide some test results due to temperature and radiation.

Hey Jason,

This is a non-Radiation Hardness Assured Device, thus the datasheet specifications are not changed to account for variation.

They are as always with TI parts assured for temperature variation, but not temperature.
As far as radiation/temperature variation in question three, unfortunately I don't have data to share with you on the directions of variation and such.

Daniel,

I found Radiation data for UC1825A. I still have question on the temperature variation. If Vio varies from 1mV to 10mV between 25C to 125C, can I assume it is linearly changed by 9mV per 100C ?

Hey Jason,

Our maximum specifications in our datasheet is the value that the spec will stay below over temperature.
It may change from 1 mV to 10 mV over temperature, it may decrease with temperature, it may be 4 mV and not change at all.

What you can take away from knowing that the specification is 1 mV typcial and 10 mV max is that generally the part will have its spec near 1mV and at the very least it will never go above 10 mV.
