Hi team,

I want to ask you about the circuit protection and WDT function in TLC59208F. Could you answer following questions?

1) What kind of protection or error detection circuits is the device integrated for outputs?

For example, short circuit detection and LED open detection.

2) Could you explain more detail of the behavior of WDT function? Datasheet doesn't have enough information to understand the behavior. When does the WDT starts count-up ? What happens after the the WDT counter reach the WDT period?

Hi, Saito,

I've checked internally and got some answers for your questions.

TLC59208F doesn't have protection or error detection and the "OUTPUT DRIVER AND ERROR DETECTION" Functional Block Diagram should be inherited from TLC59108.

For WDT, we believe it's watch dog timer. But we need to check more for the details and curretly please use default value. Please send us an email if you need more info later.
