I'am using the Ucc2804 pwm controller for a dcm flyback converter ( Fsw = 300kHz). The overcurrent protection ( Hiccup mode) does not work during an output shortcircuit. The PWM works in cycle-by-cycle current limiting mode ( high power dissipation). where is the issue? (the leakage transformer is low)
This pwm controller used in a CCM flyback converter allows the Hiccup mode.
