Hi,

My customer is looking for a TI device with below requirements. Can you please suggest something?

This is automotive customer so please share Q1 device.

Noise requirement: 2nV/sqrt(Hz) at 100khz onwards

 

 

Part 1

Vin = 3.3V or 1.8V or supplier to specify

Vout = 0.9V

Pout = 500mW

 

Part 2

Vin = 3.3V or supplier to specify

Vout = 1.8V

Pout = 200mW

    Hi Aniket,

    LP5912-Q1 is a good selection for your conditions; however, if your two loads are physically close to each other on your layout, you may wish to also consider TPS7A88-Q1 which is a dual LDO (two LDOs in the same package).

    Our parametric search is the best tool to use for questions like this.  I have filled in your stated requirements into the parametric search here and sorted by output noise.

    Hi Ryan,

    Customer requires 2nV/rtHz but TPS 7A88-Q1 TI IC has 10nV at 100Khz. Do we have any any other device which we can suggest?

    Part 1

    Vin = Flexible or supplier to specify considering power dissipation

    Vout = 0.9V

    Pout = 2600mW

    Part 2

    Vin = Vin = Flexible or supplier to specify considering power dissipation

    Vout = 1.8V

    Pout = 400 to 500 mW

    Hi Aniket,

    As mentioned in my previous post, the parametric search is the best way to find what LDOs are currently offered. Our lowest noise LDO at this time that is automotive qualified is TPS7A88-Q1 as shown in the provided parametric search.
