LP8555: SDA PULL-UP resister to VDDIO ?

Hi Team

I am wondering about the SDA pin pull-up to VDDIO in the datasheet. What is the meaning of that drawing?

Did we really need to add that resister in I2C control mode? I saw the schematics on EVM didn't add that resister.

Please help for this, thanks!

Ye, for I2C communication, you need to add this resistor.

I don't get the reason why need? EVM didn't have it !

Hi Bruce,
I guess that is because the MCU SDA pin can be set internal pull up.
