TPS82084: reduced height (1mm)

Hi,

I am looking for a buck module to do 3.3V to 0.9V conversion that has >80-85% efficiency at 1A (similar to TPS82084) but that is shorter  than (or equal to)1mm in height.

    Hi Alberto,

    It's difficult to design a space saving module (via stacking the components) that is low profile. We actually did this a few years ago in the TPS8268090, but the efficiency is below your target.

    However, with modern discrete DC/DCs, we can be smaller and lower and more efficient than TPS82084. TPS62088 gives above 85% for those conditions. You can probably be a bit higher with the larger TPS62825.
