I have a customer evaluating the TCL59208F along with a Renesas S7G2 processor.
Customer is able to write to the control register and set it to auto-increment. That register is read back correctly.
However, writing to subsequent registers does not seem to happen. They are reading back all 0xFF values in those registers, regardless of what value they try to set them to.
It seems there are several contradictions in the datasheet. For example, in Figure 13, it states auto increment on all registers except reg IC-IF as 100. There are no registers IC thru IF and the table indicates that, when set to 100, ALL registers (no exceptions) are written. In Figure 15, it states 101 is auto increment on All Registers, but again the table seems to indicate that is should be 100. Can you explain the contradictions?
In addition, do we have example code for the chip? Looking for a driver using the Renesas SSP library.
