TPS92512: TPS92512DGQR INPUT pwming allowance

I need to dim a LED module that uses a TPS92512DGQR but I can't use the built in pwm pin. I am only allowed power and ground lines to the device. The power signal will be PWMed at 100hz between 15% and 100% duty cycle. I have rigged this up and it seems to work but I would like some feed back on if this is acceptable or if it could cause long term damage to the device. Below is a simplified schematic.

Hello James,

I don't believe it will cause long term damage to the device however it may not behave as intended. Basically this is being powered on and off at 100 Hz and the part wasn't intended to operate this way. This part has a control loop that may not regulated current correct.
