TPS65950: What's the status of CLKEN(PIN:C6) during power-on?

Hi,

Based on the timing diagram, it looks like CLKEN pin is held low during the power up. But I have forwarded this request to device expert and he will get back to you if this is not correct.

thanks a lot, could you also forward additional question to the expert for this chip?during power-on, CLKEN(PIN:C6) is hold low, and after power-on, all DC output well, but CLKEN(PIN:C6) is always keep low, is it normal?is there any problem?
Note: CLKEN(PIN:C6) is floating, not connected to any external componet,except one testpoint

I agree that the CLKEN pin should be low before power up.

From the timing diagram it looks like the CLKEN should go high just over 2ms after VIO is high. I would double check the VIO voltage and probe the CLKEN pin with a multimeter to see if it is being shorted to ground.

Is this pin actually being used for anything?

So the CLKEN pin is working but the delay is longer than you expect?

Unfortunately I do not know if the output is tri-state or pull-down as this part is NRND, and so the information on it is harder to find.

yes, the CLKEN pin is working, because CLKEN is connected to one tri-state enable pin of oscillator, if the output during power up is tristate, I am afraid it will let oscillator work unstable. can you help check it?thanks.
