Hello,

we are using TLV61220 for 5V design, we implement the design same as application circuit given in datasheet.

when we make EN pin to GND, output voltage remains high.

please help to solve this issue.

voltage in the output when EN pin is low is 2.8V

Hi Julie,
it is expected behavior. the 2.8V should be (input voltage - 0.4V). because TLV61220 is a traditional boost without true shutdown function.
you can select a device such as TPS61070 if require true shutdown function.

in datasheet of TLV61220, it is not mentioned that it is not true shutdown.
what is difference in true shutdown function
