BQ24161B: Disable Watchdog Timer

Dear TI-Team!

Does there exist a method to completely disable the watchdog timer?

To clarify my use case a bit.

I am looking for a possibility to send the settings via I2C once and omit the watchdog timer from resetting the device afterwards. The I2C is disconnected at a later point which leads me to this question.

    Hi Hp,

    Unfortunately, there is no way for the user to disable the watchdog timer via I2C.  There are two versions, BQ24160A and BQ24168 that have the watchdog and safety timers disabled.  The table at the top of d/s page 4 shows the differences in the devices.
