hi team

My customer is using ISO5451 in their project and the PWM goes to STO from MCU and then goes to ISO5451. Due to voltage drop over the long distance, sometimes ISO5451 has no signal output. do you have any suggestions to solving the problem?

Hi Duoduo,

Could you please provide a schematic of the connections between the MCU and ISO5451? Has your customer measured the PWM signal at the input of IN+/IN- to see if the signal falls between the recommended operating range? If the PWM signal is not within the operating range, then the device will not have an output.
